How do I get to
Michelle and Carl’s wedding…
…by Plane?
Fly from any major airport
to Newark’s Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ. Located with
30 miles of all major wedding-related events – the church, the hotel, the
reception, etc.
Other area airports include
JFK and LaGuardia in New York,
and Philadelphia International Airport in Philadelphia, PA.
You will need to rent a car
at the airport or make arrangements for a pick-up by someone in the wedding
party or a car service – public transportation is limited from the airport to
the hotel.
To
get to the Hampton Inn from Liberty International Airport by car:
1. Exit the airport following signs for "I-78 West"
2. Bear left on ramp at sign reading "I-78 W to Garden State Parkway / Clinton"
3. Continue on I-78 West for approximately 4.5 miles,
following signs to the Garden State Parkway.
4. Exit via ramp at sign reading "Exit 52 Garden
State Parkway" and follow signs for the Parkway North.
5. Continue on Garden State Parkway for 11 miles
6. Exit Garden State Parkway via ramp at sign reading "Exit 153B RT-3 and
US-46 W"
7. Bear right on RT-3 West for 1.0 mile
8. Bear right on US-46 West for 8 miles – you will see
the Hampton Inn and Suites on the Eastbound side of the Route 46.
9. Follow the jug handle at Clinton Road to get to the
hotel – keep in mind, U-turns and left turns are illegal at most traffic lights
in New Jersey, hence the jug handle!

Amtrak to Newark’s Penn Station in Newark, NJ
You can rent a car at Penn
Station in Newark, or make arrangements for a pick-up by someone in
the wedding party or a car service – it is a long bus ride from the station to
the hotel or the church!

Directions to St. Peter the Apostle
Church
From Route 287 North – Take exit #41A.
Bear right following signs for Route 46.
Turn left at light onto Smith Road. After the 1st
light, bear right toward Rte 46 East. At
the light, merge onto Route 46 East.
Follow to the second light (Baldwin Road) and take the jughandle on your right. At the stop sign, turn left onto Baldwin Road crossing over Route 46. Church is on your right (corner of Route 46
and Baldwin
Road).
From Route 287 South – Take exit #42 (Routes 202/46). Turn left at light onto Route 202/Parsippany
Blvd. At the next light, make a left
onto Route 46 East. Follow to the 4th
light (Baldwin
Road) and
take the jughandle on your right. At the
stop sign, turn left onto Baldwin Road crossing over Route 46. Church is on your right (corner of Route 46
and Baldwin
Road).
From Route 80 East – Take exit #45 (Lake Hiawatha/Whippany). At the top of ramp, make a left onto South Beverwyck Road. At the next
light, make a left onto Route 46 West.
Follow to the next light and make a right onto Baldwin Road. Church is on
your right (corner of Route 46 and Baldwin Road).
From Route 80 West – Take exit #47 (Parsippany/Rte 46) and merge onto
Route 46 West. Follow to 3rd
light and make a right onto Baldwin Road. Church is on
your right (corner of Route 46 and Baldwin Road).
Directions to il Tulipano
from St. Peter’s Church

Make a left out
of the church parking lot onto Baldwin Road. Continue to
first light and make a left onto Route 46 East.

Follow Route 46
East for approximately 8 miles. Just
past the Willowbrook Mall, look for signs for Route 23 South.

Follow Route 23
South through 5 traffic lights (approximately 1 ¾ miles) and il Tulipano will
be on your left.
Valet parking is provided.
If you are staying at the
Hampton Inn and Suites, a free shuttle is available to take you from the hotel
to the reception, and back to the hotel at the end of the night. This service is complimentary to our wedding
guests who are staying at the hotel. You
can return to the hotel after the ceremony to drop off your car. The shuttle buses will leave the hotel
approximately 15 minutes before the cocktail hour begins. (Please verify with the front desk when you
check in.)
