Car crashes into Chatham Coldstone Creamery

Anyone got pictures of this accident?

"A woman backing out of a parking spot in Chatham this morning wound up busting into the local Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop on Main Street, reversing some 20 feet into the store, police and the owner said. The accident between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. left a Honda Odyssey minivan in Jahan Siddiqui's shop. "She backed up all the way to the register," the owner said. Luckily, the store was still closed and only one employee was there. The worker saw the vehicle coming and bolted into the backroom. The driver wasn't seriously injured, police said."

Jews smoke meat real good

Jason at Off the Broiler links us to a recent documentary about the greatest Jewish deli in the world, Montreal's very own Schwartz's Deli. My friends and I visited Schwartz's our last time in Canada and their smoked meat sandwich was certainly the second best part of the trip.

When it comes to curing beef, whether by smoke or salt, you gotta hand it to the Jews. Remember, they were the ones who taught the Irish Americans how to make corned beef*.

The 2007 Mens Basketball tournament is over and Unsilent Majority has picked better than anyone else I know. He's a Pittsburgh Panthers fan so he'll get something chintzy in blue and gold for winning. Notably at the bottom of the pool: Villanova alum Carl who picked fewer than 50% of the games correctly.
