You Are Not Lance Armstrong

Hey, you!

Yes, you sir! You, riding your 12-speed Trek Roadster in the middle of MacArthur Boulevard in the middle of rush hour! I have something I desperately need to tell you, and that is this:

You are not Lance Armstrong.

The Nuclear Option

Greenpeace founder and environmentalist Patrick Moore disproves common myths surrounding nuclear energy and generally embraces a power source he once protested. Hooray for sound thinking and advocacy from those filthy tree-huggers! You know what I always say: nuclear energy for the home; Alaskan wildlife refuge oil for the car.

Judge lets smoking ban take effect

U.S. District Court Judge Stanley Chesler, sitting in Trenton, ruled that he would not stop the law from taking effect because opponents were not likely to prevail in their claims that it unconstitutionally discriminates against them.
Now let's get rid of the casino exemption.

N.J. Smoking Ban begins this weekend

Light up a Lucky!New Jersey's indoor smoking ban goes into effect at 12:01AM on Saturday, pending the outcome of today's U.S. District Court case brought by restaurant and bowling alley owners that challenges its casino exemption. However, the state Department of Health has thrown a monkey wrench into the operations of every bar owner currently planning outdoor smoking areas adjacent to their building: The 25-feet rule. No smoking within 25 feet of any building.
Armando Frallicciardi Jr., co-owner of Lorenzo's Cafe in Trenton and a strong opponent of the ban, called the surprise regulation "absurd." He said a number of owners, including himself, have been considering building a deck or a patio. "This means if we build a 30-foot deck, and that is an extensive deck, we would have 5 feet where people can smoke. That is totally absurd," he said. "The state needs to work with small business on this and stop this. They have gained their objective. Now we need to have smoking outside."

Oven door passed off as flat-screen TV in scam

Folks, be very wary of flat screen TV's being sold on eBay...they may actually be oven doors. Well, duh...
