Big Daddy passes the bar
Congratulations to iracane.com favorite and boxed wine aficionado Big Daddy Grenks for passing the New Jersey bar exam. I guess we'll have to refer to him as Big Daddy Grenks, Esq. from now on. Huzzah!
UPDATE: BDG passed the New York bar too!

Krispy Kreme World Record!
Local Seattle girl consumes 1800 Krispy Kreme donuts to set new world record. Or something like that...I don't read these things anymore.

Sidie Soccer Update
Congratulations to the Drew Rangers for winning the Freedom Conference Championship 3-0 over Lycoming. My little cousin Matt notched the first goal and it was easily one of the top five shots I've ever seen one of my relatives score.
Congratulations to the GL Highlanders for winning the Union County Championship 1-0 over rival Cranford. My little cousin Chrissie's teammate Meredith scored the game-winner with three minutes left, but I missed the goal becaue I was too busy discussing the prospects of a tie game. To celebrate the team's 100th goal of the season, the GL boys team (including my little cousin Doug) made a hott banner. (if that jerk wasnt standing in the way, you'd be able to see the sign says "That's 100")

Election? What election?
For the next four years, I am boycotting any beer owned by a corporation based in a "red" state:
The list of allowed beers goes on and on with some fantastic microbrews. Any suggestions?

Sidie Soccer Update
I'm not usually one to brag (wait...yes I am) but my cousin Chrissie's high school soccer team is now among the top ten teams in the state of New Jersey. Governor Livingston has amassed 18 wins and one tie while outscoring their opponents 99-0. They play Saturday against Cranford for the county title. Go Highlanders!
In other cousin-related soccer news, Matt's Drew team finished #1 in their conference and will be playing in the Freedom Conference tournament semifinals tomorrow night. Go Rangers!
Michelle and I remain completely athletically challenged and better suited for a Trivial Pursuit tournament than a soccer tournament.
