Nicklaus says career will end at St. Andrews
Ten years ago, my family and I, from our summer rental in Lavallette, watched Arnold Palmer play in his last British Open on the tee-vee. Camera shot after camera shot and replay after replay was devoted to the image of Palmer walking over the famed Swilken Bridge at St. Andrew's in Scotland. Flash forward to July 2005 when Jack Nicklaus will be playing his final tournament of his career at St. Andrew's. Get your Tivos ready for the second coming of the ol' bridge shot! 2 Comments:
