Election? What election?
For the next four years, I am boycotting any beer owned by a corporation based in a "red" state: BANNED
ALLOWED
The list of allowed beers goes on and on with some fantastic microbrews. Any suggestions? 11 Comments:

May I suggest Fenway American Pale Ale brewed in Boston Mass. home of the 2004 World Champion BOSTON RED SOX!!! No you may not By , at 4:36 PM Anything by Weyerbacher - Easton represent! You want 12% ABV? You got it! Easton, FUCK YEAH! Franzia is made in California. Mmmm, boxed wine. -BDG By , at 11:34 AM You know, I really don't have a good comeback for that, so I'll just leave it there. Oh yeah...that's right: Better beer (OK, so the case law sucks) and lower property taxes across that there Delaware. So, sticks and stones, my friend...sticks and stones.... Actually, I was singing its praises , not insulting the fine town of Easton. Easton resplendent! < SHEEPISH >Oh...OK. Never mind!< /SHEEPISH > I endorse your Red State Beer boycott, and I shall endeavor to follow suit (as soon as I kick the twelver of Killians in my fridge right now). I will, however, make an exception for the really-good-for-the-money local Starr Hill brews. Since Charlottesville is Blue by a 72-27 margin, I feel that this compromise will uphold the spirit of the boycott. May I recommend Dogfish Head? You want 20% abv? Well, it'll probably cost you $8 for a 12oz bottle, but damn if that's not the tastiest IPA I've ever had. |
