A Philadelphia Daily News reporter has connected the Beltway sniper's motives with antipathy towards Major League Baseball saying that the sniper has only acted on days that MLB playoff games have taken place. It's terrible that someone would try to associate such random acts of violence with our national pasttime. And: Indeed, the theory has some gaps. The sniper has not gone on a rampage the day of every baseball playoff game. In the first two weeks of the playoffs, from Oct. 1 through Oct. 14, there were games every day and shootings on only eight days.So, the chances are slim that this rampage will end on Saturday when the Giants clinch. 0 Comments:
