Anybody who knows me knows that my second favorite magazine (after Drunk Chicks) is The New Yorker which finally has a website with content from the magazine itself. Actually, I find it much more rewarding to hold the physical magazine in my hands, to be conscious of the pages, to feel the paper with my fingers. It's hard to read a long selection on the computer screen, what with the scrolling and the sore eyes. Now before you go pegging me a pretentious jerk, try reading some selections. Might I recommend The Smoker, a debut short story by David Schickler. Of course, the best part of The New Yorker are the cartoons. 0 Comments:
